Premier Certification Services assists with certification application preparation and documentation review. PCS does not provide government contracting strategy, proposal writing, bid management, capture management, pricing strategy, or federal sales consulting services.
PCS may assist with SAM registration when it is connected to a WOSB certification project, because an active SAM registration is part of the WOSB certification process. However, SAM registration support is provided only as part of certification-related work, not as a standalone government contracting service.
For certification purposes, the important question is usually whether a specific agency, prime contractor, customer, RFP, RFQ, or contract opportunity requires or recognizes a particular certification. The right certification depends on your ownership, management, control, documentation, company structure, industry, location, and target opportunities.
WOSB certification may support eligibility for certain federal contracting opportunities when Women-Owned Small Business status is required or useful, while DBE certification may apply to federally assisted transportation projects or DBE participation goals. State, local, county, and municipal programs may also have their own certification requirements or application processes.
